Surprisingly interesting, headed in there with a friend on my way to a meeting, the mummy artefact was rather haunting. That's a personal though. The natural history section was incredibly interesting, and displayed beautifully. The old war room was fantastic to view, highly recommend going if you have a spare hour while in Maidstone.

Fantastic museum, showing so much incredible history around the world, beautufully exhibited with great fun and educational things for kids to see and do, well worth a visit if you have a spare few hours. Look forward to returning with our grandchildren soon.

My son absolutely loves it here, especially the dressing up section . So much to explore and learn with lots of fun activities along the way. Staff are friendly and welcoming. A great free way to spend a few hours in Maidstone.

Great local museum for those little ones and adults alike!Worth the visit if you are heading to Fremlin Walk... Just drop into the Museum Cafe for a coffee and cake!Entry is all Free!

We always forget about it until we have time to kill and then wish we had left more to explore properly. Good walk through local history and nicely done for kids.
