Could not rate more highly. Good flat site with grass better than many garden lawns, established trees. Beautiful wetrooms which encouraged people to look after them & keep clean after each use (I'd like the big squeegee they have to use at home!). Jan was very considerate as we couldn't book ahead due to family circumstances. The site is quite close to the motorway so you can hear distant traffic if the wind is in a certain direction but we knew this and it had the big upside of making it very quick to get their & easy to access local places to visit. We would happily return. (We stayed in our tent).
We have just returned from a three night stay in our tent. This is a beautifully kept site, the shower and toilet block, laundry and washing up areas are first class and very clean. Jan and Harry the wardens give you a warm welcome and can't do enough to make your stay relaxed and happy. Lovely large enclosed area for walking the dog We would certainly return.
This is a real gem of a site. Quite secluded ,quiet very well kept. The facilities are excellent .The wardens Harry and Jan are really helpful and friendly and take great pride in looking after their site.Nothing is too much trouble for them. If you have a dog there is a great dog walk and Harry has even installed a doggie shower.Fantastic location if you are attending an event at the showground.This was our first visit and certainly will not be the last.
It is so lovely here, very convenient if you are going to a concert in the Kent Event Centre, which is basically connected to it. It is very small and quiet which is lovely and the facilities are incredible! The toilets have music and there is a code you have to enter to get in. There is a washing machine and more! The only downside is that dogs aren't allowed off a lead, and awnings and event shelters must be connected to a car/caravan.
Great site with friendly wardens. Shower facilities are always clean. Individual rooms with Shower, sink and toilet giving you plenty of room for your ablutions. We have used the site several times and are always happy to go back.
