Terrible surgery... everytime we attend they are running very late and they NEVER see you on time... they run late from opening to close... avoid at all costs... seem to be more interested in peddling luke warm food in their overpriced cafe to the rear.

Ive had my issues over the years but in general this surgery is excellent. The doctors are caring and all have time for you. The patients that sit there and complain about the fact they have to wait so long for an appointment are often the ones that go in and dont think of the 10 minute appointment time themselves and take 20 minutes rather than 10. We all have a duty to try and help the doctor with the 10 minute appointment time rule. But ... I also always think that if my doctor feels they need to spend a little longer with me for some reason, then I need to be grateful for that. Equally I need to think the same if the doctor has spent that time with someone else. People have no idea why that doctor is running late, they couldve just spent time helping a dying cancer patient or explaining a new diagnosis to someone or helping a patient suffering with their mental health. Please try and be more patient when it comes to waiting for your appointment and know that if you needed the extra time- your doctor would give it to you too. Equally when you have an appointment make sure you have one thing youre going on for and not 2,3, 4 or more. Each thing takes time and doctors need to do examinations for everything. If you want to be looked after well then choose one appointment per problem. There are double appointments you can book. Im not a doctor or related to the surgery or the medical profession I just see the frustration in the waiting room and dont expect that same frustration would be there if the doctors spent 20 minutes with you.... Please think. Back to the surgery, I think its decorated well, feels relaxing in there. The receptionists are always lovely and helpful now too. The holistic side of the surgery (upstairs) is excellent. The staff, the care and the rooms they all work in- they are all impeccable. I have nothing negative to say about any of it at all.

Number always busy, impossible to get through to them.

Put an email complaint on 6th July to patient manager about one of the doctors who I felt had let me down, was unsympathetic, did not take my symptoms seriously and I felt I was dismissed and fobbed offI Was promised a formal response within 2 working weeks ..since then I have contacted the patient Manager several times ... was promised a repsonse today !! But still have not heard anything. Dr Ney was great though .. no complaints

I have been with this surgery for about thirty years, It used to be great - friendly support and staff, and easy to get seen but it has changed so much, sadly it has lost it's friendly atmosphere, no longer very supportive and it is near impossible to get an appointment. Such a shame.
