This fish and chip shop was recently sold. This normally means things change mostly for the worse. Not here mind it's still as great. Soon to change name to Lewis's a bold move but never the less one he'll of a fish and chip shop. Fish batter is light and crispy the only one we use now well done guys..........
Have used this take away loads. Yes they can be a bit slow but the foods worth the wait. Lovely peri peri chicken and the ribs are delicious. Good all rounder. Better now its under new management. The staff are friendly. Good service. 5*
Picked up cod and chips tonight, new owners, best fish and chips we have had in a long time. Well done keep up the good work.
Having opened a Careco store down the road this has been my go to place since discovering it, I've tried a bit of everything including the suicide wings today. And absolutely everything has been spot on, it's all been cooked perfectly and never greasy and most importantly everything has been cooked fresh and tastes really good
Usually this place is extremely good, the food is tasty and comes in good portions.One issue...Placed an order over the phone for a pickup at a particular time, we were early but the order had already been made but the batter was wet and stuck to the paper causing it to tear off the fish and pulled it apart and the chip portion was very very poor.
