A peaceful country park easily accessible from the main road. Upon entry to the park during my visit, the highland cows were in the field across from the car park. Just a 30 second walk across the road and youre free to roam the fields with them. Personally, I wouldnt get too close! The other side of the road has a peaceful walk around and next to the water & under the bridge. A nice hour or so out on a sunny day.
Good place for picnics and walks by the river. Could do with more comfortable picnic areas.
Great place to park up and have a walk along the river medway. 2 to park all day. 6 for a day ticket to fish.
Beautiful. Well maintained land. Always staff around. Lovely little cafe/ shop in the car park with lovely staff member who answer all your questions. Opportunities to purchase fishing day passes from the shop and go fishing. Lovely play area for the children. Wide open spaces for peaceful walks out. Dog walkers and the like. Everyone enjoys this space together and its lovely to see it all blend in together.
What a lovely place to spend a Sunday morning. 2 for the hole day to park your car. A very well maintained WC. Great outdoor park for the children. Horses and cows grazing round one of the walks.A very interesting lock to take a look around down on the river. People were setting off paddle boarding and kannooing too. We had a lovely stroll down stream, then onto the massive field with plenty of benches to sit and chill out. Highly recommended place for a bit of quiet time.
