I decided to register at Barming Dental Centre after reading reviews and the section on their website about anxious patients. I suffer with extreme anxiety and due to this had not been to the dentist for two years. I was suffering issues with my wisdom tooth and had caused cosmetic damage to a tooth as a result of reparative behaviour when anxious. I saw Dr Ahmed for my new patient appointment, he was so friendly and welcoming. In my first appointment I went over what was bothering me and we came up with a plan, he made it clear what we were going to do and today I returned for my wisdom tooth extraction, a filling to the tooth I had caused damage to and a general clean. Dr Ahmed went through our plan again when we got there and asked if there was anything I was unsure of. I told him I was anxious about the filling as I had never had one and had heard horror stories. He explained how it would be done and showed me the tool that would be used, he demonstrated it on the back of his gloved hand to show how general it was. When numbing my mouth for the wisdom tooth again he was very clear what he was doing and counted down how long the injection was going to be. I felt completely at ease with the process (a little panic when tooth was hard to get out but that is no fault of Dr Ahmed) I would highly recommend this practice to anyone!Obviaouly you are paying private fees, but I feel the service is far superior to NHS.
I can thoroughly recommend Dr Shakeel at Barming Dental Centre he is very professional, diligent and provided caring treatment he explained everything in detail. Overall experience is excellent A+++. Highly recommended!
I have not been to a dentist for a while due to bad experiences, I checked out numerous websites and reviews and barming gave me the most confidence to contact them, excellent website, staff very caring and kind welcomed by smiley faces and on the phone, dentist was patient and gentle although I need a lot of work done they have restored my faith and look forward to getting my treatment by them
Wonderful response from the receptionist Catherine when I first called her for an urgent appointment. Highly experienced dentists especially Dr. Paul appeared calm and pleasant in manner and explained the procedure to us very well and was gentle in handling. I do highly recommend this service for adults and children!!!
Very friendly & helpful practice, the dentist & hygienist always explain what will be happening. Excellent communication via text message & email.I would recommend to friends & family. I used to be a very nervous patient but always feel quite relaxed here.I asked for a particular request & they went out of their way to make it happen.
