Awful. Rude staff, dentist said hed referred me to a specialist and hadnt. Zero stars.

Wow..........if you want to be dealt with like an insubordinate child! This is the place for you! These people have definitely taken a leaf from the Little Britain comedy sketch Computer says no I went to see the dental hygienist in April 2018 and was notified by the Hygienist that another appointment was needed in 6 Months time. Now I was going on holiday in October 2018 and was unsure of our return date. So when I approached there reception desk the lady wanted to book me in.....but I explained I was away in October and couldnt confirm straight away my availability. Unfortunately I never got back to them with dates.....so I thought Id book some dates before Christmas 2018 once we were back for our hols. So today......I received a letter stating that Ive been removed from there NHS list as Ive not shown up for 2 previous appointments! Not 1......but 2 failed or late show appointments. So I called them......! Apparently in 2011......yes 7 years ago I turned up late for a routine examination! Yep you heard it right, I was late 7 years ago and my failed to turn up appointment on 18th October (That I know I didnt make due to the information above). The polite lady on the other end of the phone confirmed that It was definitely made by me before I left the practice. She has also confirmed that this appointment was for an examination and not with the hygienist.......so if I did make this appointment, why wasnt the hygienist booked at the same time? Hmmmmm she cant answer that Im afraid! So to conclude.......if you want to visit a dentist run like one of her majestys prison, then Maidstone Dental clinic is the place for you! At least in prison you might receive a reduced sentence for good behaviour! And my actions from 2011 would have been looked and considered by the parole board at our friendly local Maidstone dental clinic.
My daughter who is 6 and a half just had to have her first filling. The dentist asked her to stop crying because other patients would hear and wouldn't come in!!! (He was serious)We will not be going back there!
