We had a family reunion here and what a great evening it was, the pub has a lovely atmosphere, the staff were were so nice and welcoming and the food was exceptional, it wasn't too noisy either, so many places now get so loud you can't here yourself speak! but not here I'm glad to say. Thank you to all the staff for making a wonderful evening.
This was an amazing atmospheric pub in the heart of the Kent countryside. Log fires, hops hanging from the beams and a convivial feel about the place. Food was excellent all freshly cooked to order. The final course of lime and ginger cheesecake just topped it all. Would definitely recommend but book well in advance.
Absolutely gorgeous. .. friendly staff .. professional. Amazing atmosphere. . And as for the food .. this did not disappoint. .. just cooked perfectly .. we did have to wait a while .. but the log fire and the wonderful atmosphere kept our minds occupied. . Get yourself here .. one of a kind !!!
We stayed here Saturday night. We arrived Saturday afternoon. We ordered lunch and the hospitality of the waitress was brilliant. The food was delicious and they catered for my needs perfectly. The room was quaint and had all you needed. A powerful shower and a comfy bed!! Would highly recommend and will return!! Thank you!
Very nice. A small country pub extended into a nice restaurant whilst maintaining a country atmosphere. Open fire, hops hanging from the ceiling, barrels and milk churns to sit on, plus proper chairs and tables. Staff are very nice, helpful and polite. Food was good.
