Absolutely disgusting service. So many issues and errors, I will highlight only a few otherwise I'll be typing an essay. Bought a new Dacia Duster at the end of August for a delivery in early Jan. Daniel Parker was really pushy about Gap insurance, and asked me how I would afford to pay for my car if it was written off with no gap insurance. I explained that my dad would lend me the money if needed, at which point he called me 'a daddy's girl'. Then, at the end of the same appointment, he swore in front of my 5 year old... incredibly unprofessional on both counts. The delivery date changed several times, and when it was put back to mid Feb, I said I was going to cancel the order. Within a few days the delivery magically changed back to early Jan, and I was urgently requested in to sign all the appropriate paperwork days before Christmas. I chased and chased in early Jan and was told the transporter the car was being delivered on had been involved in an accident and that would now further put back the delivery of my car. Eventually I collected the car 24th Jan. I refused to deal with Daniel Parker after around 10th Jan due to all the lies. The manager Christian Doll is no better... not replying to emails I sent and fobbing me off with more excuses. I dealt only with Jack in the end and his help and professionalism is the only reason I didn't cancel the order. I would highly recommend avoiding this dealership at all costs, however if you really must use them, my advice would be to ask for Jack and pray!
Very disappointed with the service we received at this dealership. We had visited the week before and were left waiting 40 minutes to speak to someone (before we finally had enough and walked out!) We were hoping to purchase a Dacia duster and so I messaged the dealership directly and completed all appropriate forms. However the following day we were told the monthly payments would increase by a 'small' amount (50 per month) which meant we would be paying more in interest for the same car!! We declined the offer and were bombarded with emails telling us that we would still be saving money in the long run! We asked for our deposit back which we finally received after chasing the dealer with emails and phone calls. The following day we received a voicemail from the salesman saying they had been looking at figures for the duster and we would need to call them urgently! I sent a few emails requesting information (as I was unable to call at the time) but never received a reply! They built our hopes up initially saying the only people who struggle with credit are 'students with loans' and then didn't have any interest in us when we said the monthly payments were out of our budget. Be very careful when you apply for a Dacia - the offers you see online are not always as they appear!
The initial entrance and offer of an espresso while I waited to book my car in for a diagnostic test was where my good experience finished. Everything else afterwards was sub-par:1) The telephonist who rang me to inform me of the results was ill-informed and was only able to give me quotes for further work and NOT what the work involved2) So I had to BOOK a collection date with notes detailing the diagnosis3) I tried telephoning them on the Day f collection, only to have the phone picked up and IMMEDIATELY slammed down (busy morning for them I guess!)4) I managed to get through, only to be told Servicing was busy and they would ring me back5) 2 hours later (and after no return call) I went in to find - yep, you guessed it - that there were no accompanying notes with the car6) The assistant went to collect my car for me but returned saying "It needs another clean as the first one wasn't very good" (you receive a complimentary wash with a diagnostic)7) Still waiting after an hour8) They charge 114 p/hr labour so let's not even go into how much the suggested works were quoted at compared to anywhere elseAddendum: 9) The car STILL had unclean patches 10) The Service manager finally rang and kindly (and succinctly) elucidated me on the issues with the car so I'm updating my * rating
Very efficient service... salesman didnt try to be pushy... just listened to what we needed and worked out the best deal.... happy with the service
Ordered a new car and was informed of expected hand over date. No contact from the dealership to say that this date would not be met. Salesman seemed put out when I asked for them to look up the new expected delivery date to the dealership, and new expected handover. I was informed I would be contacted if this date also slipped. I was not and yet again had to chase the dealership. Now on the 3rd expected delivery date and yet again I have had to contact the dealership for any update. Whenever I speak to Mario I am informed he is trying to give me the best experience possible, this is far from it.During the sales process appointments have not been honoured, we have been made to wait. Appointments with colleagues regarding finance have not been passed on and result in more waiting in the showroom. When appointments do commence no preparation work has taken place and we are then left waiting while paperwork is collected. My experience in the showroom is that this is not an isolated incident and there are usually people sat waiting not knowing what is going on and getting increasingly frustrated.I will avoid the dealership in future, my only reason for using them was that they are my nearest Dacia dealer, next time I will look further afield.
